A kitchen monitor is an order manager that is projected on a screen or device in the kitchen of the food establishment. It is also known as Kitchen Display System (KDS).

It allows to keep an order between incoming orders and those that are ready in order to optimize and improve the processes and communication between the kitchen, the point of sale and the waiters.
